Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great food! We ordered Sinampalukang Manok and Sinaing na Tulingan. I just wish they selected good parts of the native chicken. But overall, the foods taste great!"
"Great experience! One of the best (if not the best) Filipino food that we always go back to. Try their Laing and Turon sa Sikwate! They also make their puto bumbong traditionally and can find it being prepared in the entrance. Menu has good variety offering cuisine originating from all over the country."
"A legendary old school Filipino restaurant in Maginhawa that really stays true to traditional Filipino recipes. The food is so good and full of flavor, the kind that reminds you of classic home style cooking but done at a very high level. It can be a bit pricey, but once you taste the food you will understand why. The servings are generous and everything we tried was excellent. The hospitality is also amazing, the staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel very welcome. Definitely a place I highly recommend if you want to experience great traditional Filipino food."
"The food is really great here at Provencianos! The taste of their best cooked meals and the aroma will transport you to the best place you were been ….home! Awesome place to spend time with friends or with your family in an elegant filipiniana setting! They even have a Calesa at the entrance!"
"Food is superb, a bit pricey but expected already considering the classy set-up, cozy, historical yet real Filipino vibe and ambience. The servings are reasonable and the servers are good. We ordered sinigang, caldereta, chicken, etc. Halo-halo for dessert but the best ordered there would be bibingka and puto bumbong, a must-try!"
"First time. Came for dinner. Good thing upon passing by (thinking there was no parking), there was one slot available and so we took it. We were seated quickly as they were preparing the table which was in their private dining area. The ambiance was busy and full of conversations. We were given menus upon sitting, and it didn’t take long for us to give our food order. Food was good and served hot-delicious and huge portion of kansi, tasty chicken steak. The staff are nice and quick to respond to requests."
"Provenciano is a heritage-inspired Filipino restaurant in Quezon City known for regional dishes, nostalgic interiors, and a strong focus on traditional flavors. It celebrates Filipino culinary roots while maintaining polished presentation and consistent quality."
"My go to Filipino restaurant! If I have to impress a relative or a friend, I bring them here. Wide selection of Filipino food from mains to desserts. The price to serving ratio is really . My favourite is their kansi! A must try. Service was fast, and all of the dishes that I tried were flavorful. Limited parking in the area. They can also accommodate reservations."
